Dionne Warwick on her "three-way songwriting marriage with Bacharach & David' (Q Awards video)
Dionne Warwick has told Q that her songwriting partnership with Burt Bacharach and Hal David was like a three-way marriage - that worked!
The legendary singer was speaking after receiving Classic Song for Walk On By at yesterday's (22 October) Q Awards.
"It's been a wonderful song for me," she said the track that was written for her. "We were known in the industry as the triangle marriage that worked. We were very dear friends. Recently lost my dear friend Hal David but Burt is still around and still talking."
