Ellie Goulding kicked off the 2012 Q Awards Gigs on Friday (5 October) with an intimate set at London's Jazz Café.
Opening with an acapella version of Don't Say A Word, the first track of new album Halxyonm before her band joined in, the singer reneged on her earlier, jokey tweet that she was going to play a jazz set in honour of the venue.
Telling the crowd she was "feeling good tonight", she made the most of the intimate surroundings, playing acoustic guitar on Guns & Horses, which turned into a big sing-a-long.
Playing her cover of Elton John's Your Song in the encore, she had the whole venue in good voice, ahead of storming set closer Starry Eyed.
Ellie Goulding played:
Don't Say A Word
Halcyon
Figure 8
Salt Skin
My Blood
Joy
Explosions
Guns & Horses
I Know You Care
The Writer
Only You
Under The Sheets
Anything Could Happen
Lights
Animal
Your Song
Starry Eyed
