Who? A collective of musicians who fuse frantic garage-psych with breath-takingly florid afrobeats, supposedly because their village is under a voodoo curse due to centuries of strange local customs and pagan worship. Whatever the reason, it's a head-spinning, hip-shaking riot.
Why now? The band's excellent debut album World Music, was released earlier this year and started getting some deserved recognition in various end of year lists.
