Rodriguez is to record his third album this summer, returning to the studio after a 42 gap since his last record, Coming From Reality. The subject of acclaimed documentary Searching For Sugar Man has about 30 songs to be considered for the album. As he told Q last year, his new material has been informed by his experiences, including his unlikely fame in South Africa: "You're affected by everything. In South Africa I've woken up on mountain range and wondered where I was! That kind of feeling I write down, and remember the words."
