Keith Richards has admitted that tickets for The Rolling Stones' US tour are a tad pricey. The guitarist said the band had taken less money in order to keep entry reasonable, but admitted he was a prisoner of the market. "We actually did push the prices down a little bit. We took the lower offer, in other words. But, um, it's the price of the market. I don't really know," he admitted. "I don't have much to do with it other than I would like to people to get in, to be able to afford to get in, without sort of starving their babies and all. And that's about it."
Antony And The Johnsons will perform Swanlights at the Royal Opera House with the Britten Sinfonia on 25 and 26 June. Tickets are on sale now. The piece was originally commissioned by New York's Museum Of Modern Art and was performed in the city last year.
A catholic group have mocked David Bowie's recent video for The Next Day which sees him playing a Christ-like crooner. The Catholic League's president Bill Donohue complained the "switch-hitting, bisexual, senior citizen from London has resurfaced" after the clip appeared online yesterday.
